Public Safety
From random attacks downtown to drug overdoses on our streets public safety MUST be a top priority for our city government. Our police force has been battling to keep officers and secure funding to do their jobs for far too long. Thomas and his partner understand this issue firsthand after becoming victims of an assault downtown.

We need an administration that fully champions all our public safety needs from our police and fire department to EMS services. It's time to confront these issues head-on, building a safer and more secure future for all.

Supporting Forgotten Communities
Pittsburgh is home to 90 historic Neighborhoods. Many of these have been forgotten for decades by poor city leadership. That must change. Thomas understands the value of having strong neighborhoods across the city to allow families to prosper. Tapping into the knowledge of business owners and families in those areas is desperately needed to bring meaningful change.
We need a new way of thinking to move forward. That means being competitive again. We need a city that allows people to strive to make their dreams a reality. We can do this by removing barriers and high costs to both businesses and families. He will focus on true economic advancements that create well-paying jobs, revitalize our neighborhoods, and address the decades-long population decline.
Homeownership is a proven strategy for building generational wealth and elevating families from poverty. Innovative approaches, such as a rent-to-own program, can make homeownership more accessible, offering a pathway to financial stability for many.

Driving Economic Growth
As a small business owner, Thomas deeply understands the challenges faced by those working to build something of their own. He truly believes that regardless of political views, staying competitive as a city is essential. This means attracting new business opportunities that create diverse job prospects throughout every neighborhood. One of Thomas’ main focuses is establishing a business roundtable in partnership with the Mayor's office to identify and address the challenges faced by our business community.
4
Fixing Our City Budget
Years of mismanagement and irresponsible leadership have once again brought us dangerously close to a city financial crisis. Without a bold, long-term vision for how our City grows, modernizes, and operates, the consequences will be devastating. Continued population decline, fewer investments in our neighborhoods, stalled capital projects, and diminished public services are propelling us to a third-tier city. Simply crafting a budget to survive the next fiscal year is not enough.

We must focus on building a strong, sustainable budget that delivers meaningful results for the future. Pittsburgh deserves a Mayor who will develop and execute comprehensive, forward-thinking plans that prioritize residents' needs. One that is backed by a budget that is transparent and rooted in fiscal responsibility.

Transparency In Our City Government
Transparency in government is a must. There are too many back-door meetings and too many people left out of the process. From zoning changes to proposed ordinances, we’ve become way too accustomed to secrecy. City leaders, and neighborhood groups, need to be more forthcoming with details so that the best decisions can be made. Right now, that is not happening.
Leadership, from the Mayor to the city council needs to engage more with Pittsburgh voters, and taxpayers so that we can we can truly make our city, one for the future, and one for all.
